Billy Ray Jarrett

Billy Ray Jarrett, born June 19, 1944 in Shreveport Louisiana, passed away on December 1, 2022 in Shreveport. Funeral services for Bill will be held on December 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana with a graveside service and interment at Forest Park West Cemetery to follow. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the 2:00 p.m. service at Rose-Neath.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Alice Jarrett. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Diane Mancil Jarrett; son and wife, Jason and Krista Jarrett of Shreveport, and Shannon Geis of Forney, Texas. He was blessed with five wonderful grandchildren, Kennedy Jarrett, Tyler Jarrett, Jayce Nugent, Grace Geis, and Jarrett Geis.

Bill was the best husband, father, and friend. He loved everyone with all his heart and put everyone he met first. He never met a stranger and loved to talk about LSU football. His happy place was at the beach with family, and he would spend the entire year planning for these trips. He spent over 40 years in retail sales and management mentoring many who still utilizes his philosophy of treating everyone as your family.
