SHREVEPORT, LA - A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Billy Don Robinson, 68, will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Billy was born January 21, 1949 in Carthage, TX to Margie E. Pike Robinson and William A. Robinson and went to be with his Lord and Savior September 23, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his step-mother Nina Robinson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Cathy Robinson; son, B.J. Robinson and wife Kelly of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Angie Thornton and Bernie of Shreveport, LA; sister, Doris Ebarb of Carthage, TX; step-brothers, Jimmy Boyd and wife Cherrie, and David Boyd of Carthage, TX; grandchildren, Tanner Thornton, Will Thornton, Brynn Robinson, and Reese Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank their friends and family within the racing community for all their support.
