Billy H. Wolfe

HOMER, LA: Funeral services were held for Mr. Billy Hugh Wolfe, 72, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer, LA, on Saturday, March 21, at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. William Colvin, officiating. Interment followed at Tulip cemetery in Athens. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7 P.M. Mr. Wolfe was born May 21, 1942, in Banks, AR, to Perry Burton and Willie Myrle Thomason Wolfe. He entered into rest on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in Homer, LA. Mr. Wolfe was a good all-round handyman who could do just about anything. He had his own shop where he did repair on small engines. Mr. Wolfe did yard work for others and cut fire wood to sale. Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Perry Olin Wolfe. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Sue Freeman Wolfe; a daughter, Shnell Staggs of Homer, LA; a son, Dennis Wolfe and wife Janet of Homer, LA; seven grandchildren, Andy Staggs and wife Magan of Homer, LA, Ashley Staggs of Homer, LA, D.J. Wolfe and wife Tiffany of Haynesville, LA, Dusty Staggs Of Homer, LA, and Anthony Wolfe of Homer, LA, Shannon Warren and husband David of Magnolia, AR, and Ashley Carter and husband Brandon of Doyline, LA; thirteen great grandchildren, Haliee, Heather, Landon, Adleighana, Lillian, Elias, Jared, Brook, Hunter, Piper, Ransom, Cathy and Courtney; two sisters of Homer, LA, Phranalia Mason and husband Glenn, as well as, Parolyn Owens and husband Keith; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Andy Staggs, Ashley Staggs, Dusty Staggs, D. J. Wolfe, Anthony Wolfe and Seth Green. Honorary pallbearer were John Cole, Thomas Glen Howell and Ryan Beach.
