SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Bobbie Jean Harris, 84, will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Moore. Bobbie was born on November 20, 1930 and passed away on December 8, 2014. Bobbie was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. She retired after 26 years of employment at South Central Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Harris; son, Gaylord Ray Harris; father, Claude Winkler; mother, Zadie Winkler; sisters, Marjorie Webb, Mary Alice Warner, Myrlene Brazzel, Ruby Snider, and Tura Campbell; brother, C. W. Winkler. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Bertie Poole and Geraldine Shirley and husband, Skippy; numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie Jean's family wishes to express their appreciation to her caregivers, Kathy, April, and Renee for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer\'s Association, 910 Pierremont Rd., Suite 410, Shreveport, LA 71106.
