Benton, La- Pastor Bobbie J. Deen died November 11, 2016. A funeral service to celebrate her extraordinary life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Spirit Wind Ministries, 5280 Benton Rd, Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Pastor James Greer. Graveside services will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA. Visitation will be prior to the service Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Bobbie was born January 31, 1949 in Alexandria, LA to Estelle Durison and Frank Pacholik, Jr. She was one of four children and spent her childhood in Alexandria, LA. After graduating from Menard High School in Alexandria, she attended college. She has always said that her greatest achievement was being a mother. Bobbie moved to Bossier City, LA in 1979.
Bobbie had a heart for ministry. She gave her life to Jesus at the age of four and that began her life of service to the Lord. Bobbie led women's prayer meetings for years until God gave her the opportunity to begin her own ministry. She founded and was the Pastor of Spirit Wind Ministries. A place that focused on healing broken people in our community. Throughout her life she ministered to countless individuals, standing with them in prayer, guidance and support in their greatest moments of need. Bobbie devoted her life to touching the hearts of others, even in the midst of her greatest challenge.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Sammy McQueen.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Deen, and children; Shannon Jarrett and husband David, Scott Williamson and wife Natalie, and Heath Deen and wife Blanca. Her brother Frank Pacholik III and wife Judy, sister Judy McQueen and brother Joseph Pacholik.
Bobbie is also survived by her grandchildren, who were the light of her life; Chandler Williamson, Zoe Williamson, Matthew Jarrett, Hayden Deen and Liam Deen.
Proudly honoring Bobbie as pallbearers will be her son-in-law David Jarrett, brother-in-law Duane Deen, nephew Deen Williamson, Chris Coggins, Gus Hamden, Russell Jones, Tommy Silvertooth and Butch Stroud.
A special thanks to Dr. John Brady, Dr. Bob Massingill and the staff at Schumpert for the gracious love and care they gave her.
