Funeral services for Bobbie Lois Prock, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Greenwood with Rev. Bill Green and Rev. Joe Bob Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Bobbie was born December 2, 1926 to Jesse and Lillie Poston and went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2018 in Shreveport. Known to many as Ms. Bobbie, she was the cornerstone of the Prock family who endured so much tragedy during the last 12 years, though she never lost her faith in the Lord. She was a lady of great faith that was exhibited in every aspect of her life. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Prock; son, Joe F. Prock; and sister, Jo Ann Walls. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Willis Joe King of Long Beach, CA; sons, James Robert Prock and wife Judy of San Antonio, TX and John Thomas Prock and wife Dianne of Greenwood, LA; grandchildren, Terasa Prock and husband Andy Lewis, Suzanne Prock, Amy McMullen and husband Jason, Kimberly Morgan and husband Ryan, Lori Davis and husband Chris, Jennifer Prock, and Michael Prock; and great-grandchildren, Amanda Carrell, Shelby McMullen, Logan McMullen, Charles Johnathan Collins, Christopher Collins, Courtney Collins, Daniel Smith, Brittany Smith, and Alyssa Prock. Honoring Bobbie as pallbearers will be Michael Prock, Charles Johnathon Collins, Christopher Collins, Danny Smith, Logan McMullen, Rodney Tompkins, and Mickey Walker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the Caddo Parish Fire District #3. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Greenwood. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice, Caddo Parish Fire District #3, her nurse Brenda, and her aide Sheila. A special thanks goes to her daughter-in-law, Dianne for being her primary caregiver.
