Bobbie was born March 3, 1930 in Haynesville, Louisiana to Roddy B. Lee and Willie Marzelle (Sanders) Lee Outlaw. In 1932 she was awarded the Perfect Baby Award at the Louisiana State Fair in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston, Texas where she was a Majorette and a Champion Tennis Player. On a blind date she met and soon married R.B. "Bob" Linder of Moody, TX. They lived in Moody, Houston then San Antonio, Texas before moving to California in 1954. Bobbie was a stay-at-home-mother until 1966, when she and Bob started Linder Casters and Truck (D.B.A. Linco) and in 1974 purchased the Colson Caster, California, franchise.
In 1978, due to Bob's health and the death of her parents, she and Bob moved to Homer on Lake Claiborne. After their "so called" retirement, they built and opened Linder Motor Lodge and Restaurant in 1980 and sold the business in 1986. The Lodge still bears their name. Bobbie enjoyed bowling, tennis, softball, cards, needlework and most of all GOLF. She was Ladies Club Champion at several country clubs they belonged to in California. She and Bob played many rounds of golf at Homer Golf Club. Bob and Bobbie shared a long and wonderful life together. She entered into rest Wednesday, July 9th following a bout with kidney disease.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother.
She is survived by her half-brother, Jimmy Lee of Colorado; daughter and son-in-law Linda and David Dorries of Calhoun, LA; her son Earle Linder of California; her son and daughter-in-law Randy and Iris Linder of Homer, LA.
