Bobby Ray Bamburg

Funeral services for Bobby Ray Bamburg, 81, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the funeral home. Bobby was born November 9, 1936 in Coushatta, LA to Harlan and Robbie Bamburg and went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He worked at Highland Baptist Church for 37 years before retiring. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Heavy, C.V., and Tobe. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Frances Bamburg; son, Eugene Bamburg and wife Renee; grandsons, Steven Bamburg and wife Amber and Brandon Bamburg; great-grandchildren, Dane Blue, Gracie Bamburg, Zoey Bamburg, and Katie Bamburg; brothers, Jack Bamburg and Jimmy Bamburg; and special cousin, Kenny Cannon. Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be his family members. The family would like to give a special thanks to Caddo Emergency Rescue.
