Bobby G Davis

Funeral services will be held for Bobby Gene Davis, age 86, at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, March 9, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, LA. Bro. Don Cardin and Bro. Charles Middleton will officiate the church service. Bro. Bill Hoffman will officiate the graveside service. The interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Dubach. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Mr. Davis was born January 7, 1929, in Dubach, LA to Jess and Lou Della King Davis. He entered into rest on Wednesday, March 4, in Gibsland, LA. Mr. Davis was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. He retired from the Louisiana Highway Department. Bobby raised and sold Rat Terriers for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his wives Laura M. Davis and Mary C. Davis, daughter Leigh Ellen Yates, grandson Chris Woods, brother Joe Roy Davis and sister Evon Stokes. He is survived by his daughters Laura Page and husband Bob of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Peggy Cummings and husband Joe of Gibsland, Louisiana and Betsy Greeno and husband Mike of Hermiston, Oregon, 9 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, special sister-in-law Marilyn Hearron and by numerous other family members. Pallbearers will be Tony Streetman, Kevin Streetman, Tyler Streetman, Richard Woods, Patrick Hearron and Steven Lyles.
