Bobby Ray Nutt

Funeral services for Bobby Ray Nutt will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Trees Baptist Church, Vivian, Louisiana. Burial will immediately follow at Vivian Cemetery. Brother Mark Crook will officiate the service. Bobby was born on July 10, 1933 in Artex, Arkansas to Raymond Nutt and Lois Mills Nutt and passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bobby was a proud United States Army Veteran. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Briggs Nutt of Vivian, Louisiana; daughter, Melinda Kay Nutt Davis and husband, Randy of Trees, Louisiana; grandson, Darren Davis of Denver, Colorado; brother, Carl W. Nutt and wife, JoAnn of Gray, Texas as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Donny Wilson, Percy Ashley, Jimmy Dempsey, Wesley Nutt, Steve McLaurin and Wren Terry. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Eugene "Sonny" Boyter, Randy Davis and Darren Davis. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to his many physicians throughout the years, especially Dr. Jeff Holt, who has been a blessing to him and his family. The family also wishes to express thanks to the members of Trees Baptist Church for your thoughts and prayers and to Brother Mark Crook for officiating the service.
