Bobby Wayne Triplet was born August 16, 1975 and passed away June 24, 2024. He was a man known and loved by many, dedicated to his family, his colleagues, and his community. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, stubbornness, strong work ethic, and unwavering support for others, always showing up.
Bobby was born in Magnolia, Arkansas in 1975, graduated from Springhill High School in 1993 and Southern Arkansas University in 1997. He began working for Sonic when he was 16 and continued his career there for 33 years.
Bobby moved to Bossier City for work where he would meet his future wife, Amy. Amy and Bobby would marry in 2005 and begin their family, having three children, Madeline, Elizabeth, and Grayson, and more animals than they can count.
In his free time, Bobby could often be found at athletic events, antique sign shopping, playing games on his phone, watching and sending reels, trolling local community Facebook pages, and working in his yard.
He loved BBQ, his momma’s chicken and dressing and her lemon icebox pie, a cold Root Beer, and a good nap.
Bobby loved being a Daddy more than anything in the world, watching Maddie play soccer and create her artwork, hanging out and arguing with his “twin” Lizzie, and teaching Grayson life skills while Grayson taught him how to play video games. He loved spending time with his wife, Amy, taking trips, watching movies, going out to eat, cooking meals, and just doing life together.
Bobby leaves behind an indelible mark, not only with his family, friends, and co-workers, but in the communities he took an active part in, supporting local teams, restaurants, and businesses.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 18 years, Amy, their three children, Maddie, Lizzie, and Gray; his momma and step-dad, Rose & Robert Maples; his older brother, Chris; his in-laws, Mike Smith and Renee Nicholson; brother and sisters-in-law, Lane and Melissa Raley, Macy Smith, Adam Smith; and nephew, Gavin Raley. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers, and the entire online community who laughed at and supported his commentary.
He is preceded in death by his daddy, Ronnie Triplet.
