SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Bobby H. Ware, 79, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Rev. Rachel McConnell will be officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, La. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home.
Bobby was born January 17, 1937 in Emerson, Arkansas to Arthur and Clara Carter Ware, and passed away on November 18, 2016. He retired from the Caddo Parish School Board after 20 years of service. He loved the outdoors, golf, fishing, and traveling. He was a longtime member of Summer Grove United Methodist Church.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carolyn Brittian; son, Curtis Ware; and grandson, Cody Bridges.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Charlotte Garrett Ware; son, Ryan Ware; daughters, Ronda Bridges and Allison Ware; brother, Blondell Ware and wife Emily; "Papaw's little ray of sunshine", Hayden; and numerous family members.
Honoring Bobby as pallbearers will be Thomas Marlar, John Adams, Jonathan Finnerty, Ryan Meshell, Bruce Brewer, and Douglas Garrett.
The family suggest memorial donations may be made to Summer Grove United Methodist Church and Ware's Chapel Cemetery Fund.
