Surrounded by family and friends Bo went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday October, 9, 2015 at Grace Home in Shreveport, LA. Bo passed away after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. Services will be held at Kilpatrick Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with services following the visitation. Graveside services will be in Newman Cemetery near Lufkin, TX at 2:30 PM.
Bo was born May 6, 1953 in Lufkin, TX to the late Etna Due and Melvin Aldredge she was preceded in death by her sisters Betty Roach and Emily Elaine Dearing, brother Delbert Aldredge and an infant daughter Wendy Elaine Thomas.
Bo is survived by her loving husband Jim Gallion of Bossier City, LA; daughter Layla Santiago of Tyler, TX; son Jason Manthei of Hooks, TX; and her grandson Landon Santiago of Tyler. Survivors also include her brother Marion Aldredge (Joan) of Tyler, TX; sister-in-law Doris Aldredge of Lufkin; her mother and father in law James and Lou Gallien of Bossier city; sister-in-law Theresa Gallion of Tampa, FL, Mary Ann Gallion Willett (JT) and Pauline Gallion Moore (Jeff). Jim's children Amy Nesbett and daughter Rachel, Jamie Gallion (Lindsey) and son Hunter and Sara Gallion.
Family also would like to thank some very special friends Jane and Joe Leone, Donna Davis, Doug and Colleen Allen, Jack and Flo Green, Kenny Leslie Smelley and John and Mary Virginia LeGrand.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Gallion, Jack Green, Jeff Moore, Doug Allen, Alan Aldredge, Charles Aldredge and Dwight Squyres.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Leone, Brett Mosley, Tim Key, Tommy Jones, and Landon Santiago.
Bo was retired from International Paper with over 30 years of service, she loved riding her Harley Davidson, gardening but most of all she loved her family and friends and her chocolate Lab Chocco.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers over the last year but especially Dr. Steven Boniol and all of the nurses and staff at Christus Cancer Center, your, love, compassion will never be forgotten. We also thank the Amedisys Hospice and Grace Home especially Cheri, Kathy and Jody, we will never forget you.
Bo, I will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life. Jim
