Bonnie Woodard

Funeral services for Bonnie Woodard will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Alabama Baptist Church in Arcadia. Burial will follow at Alabama Baptist Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Bonnie Woodard was born on September 4, 1942, in to Matt and Geneva Woodard, and died on July 13, 2024.

Bonnie became a Christian in April 1952. She graduated high school at Simsboro High School as valedictorian and went on to Louisiana Tech and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She then went to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where she earned her Master’s and Specialist Degree in religious education. Bonnie served as a pre-school administrator throughout the Southeast, including Charleston, Arlington, Tullahoma, Baton Rouge, Louisville, Shreveport, and Bossier. She touched many lives of the children and parents during her career. Bonnie returned to the Alabama Community in 1998, to care for her parents. Her passion was traveling, and she toured the U.S. and abroad. Her final trip was made to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister Glenda Rogers and husband James, niece Julie Rogers, nephew, Jeremy Rogers, and many other loving family and friends.
