Brenda Kay Doggett

HOMER, LA: Funeral services were held for Mrs. Brenda Kay Doggett, 70, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer, LA, on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Brian Thurman, officiating. Interment was at Arlington Cemetery, Homer, LA. The family received friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 on Wednesday. Mrs. Doggett was born April 2, 1944, in Sharon, LA, to Robert Arthur and Mabel Bays Bailey. She entered into rest on Saturday, February 28, 2015, in Homer, LA, following an illness. Mrs. Doggett was an avid LSU fan. Mrs. Doggett was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Wayne "Beetle" Bailey. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Al Doggett; a step-son, Dickey Doggett and wife Theresa of Livingston, LA; two grandchildren, Kelly Taylor and Michael Doggett; four great grandchildren, Molly, Parker, Corbin and Maddox; a brother, Jimmy Bailey of Homer, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
