SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Brenda Ann Lafitte will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Howard Hall of Shreveport Baptist Temple. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens North Cemetery, Blanchard, LA. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Brenda was born January 7, 1954 in Blanchard, LA to Dwight and Myrtle Hines and died August 25, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents. Brenda is survived by her husband, Joe L. Lafitte of Shreveport, LA; son, Scotty Colvin and wife Michelle of Garrison, TX; daughter, Toni Watts and husband, Matt of Long Beach, MS; sister, Katherine Sweringen of Arkansas; brother, Kenneth Hines and wife, Patricia of Haughton, LA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
