Brenda Joyce Parker Smith

  Shreveport, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Brenda Smith, 64, will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Rev. Mike Stovall and Rev. Chucky Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 5:00 till 9:00 PM. Brenda was born on September 11, 1952, in Mansfield, LA to Pat Parker and Aline English Marshall. She entered into rest on January 29, 2017 in Keithville, LA. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Preceding Brenda in death were her father, Pat Parker; mother, Aline Marshall; stepdad, Rutus Marshall; brothers, Thomas Ray Parker and Troy Parker; sister, Ann Shelton; and grandson Cody L. Smith. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Ray Smith of Shreveport, LA; sons, Michael Smith of Shreveport, LA, and Justin Smith and wife Paula of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Debbie Mitchell and husband C.W. of Mansfield, LA and Linda Rachal and husband Brad of Keithville, LA; and grandchildren, Justin Smith Jr, Grabriel Singleton and Alex Singleton all of Mansfield, LA. Those honoring the life of Brenda as pallbearers will be Todd Rachal, Coty Rachal, John Morgan, Jeffery Mitchell, Chris Bridges, and Gerry Parrie.
