Bridgette Hughes Dauzat

Funeral services celebrating the life of Bridgette Hughes Dauzat will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Living Word in Minden, Louisiana with Pastor David Divelbiss and Pastor Andy Maddox officiating. Interment will follow at Old Sparta Cemetery in Jamestown, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home with Pastor Trey Waller officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday at 9:00 a.m. prior to service time at the church.

Bridgette was born September 13, 1987, in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest August 29, 2022, in Jamestown, Louisiana. Bridgette was a member of Destiny Church in Bossier City and was an assistant manager at Luigi’s Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by her son, Alden Garland, brother, Randy Hughes, husband Jesse Dauzat and grandfather Prentice Vise.

She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Betty Hughes; son Lyndon Garland; and boyfriend, Chris Hair all of Jamestown; grandparents, Melba Vise of Jamestown and James and Peggy Hughes of Taylor; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Pat Gros, Ken Collins, Sam Maggio, Jesse Stovall, Almer Jenkins, and Perry McDaniel.
