Bruce Kerry Chreene

Celebration of life and going home service for Bruce Kerry Chreene, Sr., will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Coushatta Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tommy McMellon officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home in Coushatta. Mr. Chreene was born to Clarence Edward and Clara Odell Chreene on July 2, 1938, in Shreveport, LA, and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 21, 2015, in Hall Summit, LA. He liked to tinker with his truck and loved to fish. He was also a very kind and giving man. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, Mary-Jo Chreene and two brothers, Clarence Edward Chreene, Jr. and Dennis Wayne Chreene. Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Debra Lynn Funk; sons, Bruce K. Chreene, Jr. and wife, Laverne, and Robert Dale Chreene; children, Jenny Dowlen and husband, Mike, Kay Hawkins and husband, Randy, and Danny Waites, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be the military.
