Bruce Ersell Temple

Funeral services honoring the life of Bruce Ersell Temple, 56, will be held at 2:00 p.m., June 25, 2020 at Hunter Magnolia Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana (Hunter Community) with Bro. Larry Dixon officiating. Assisting the service will be Bro. Amador Santos. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Bruce was born on July 31, 1963 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Newton and Lois Temple. He entered into eternal rest on June 22, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Bruce was preceded by his parents, Newton (Buddy) Temple and Lois Temple Reed. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherri Temple; daughter, Tabitha Temple Sant and husband Jason; son, Jon Ryan Temple; brothers, Ricky Temple and wife Kim and Justin Reed and wife Tina; sisters, Debra Gallaspy and husband Daniel, Tina Farris and husband Dennis Sr, and Debra Ann Palmer (Big Baby) and husband Alan; grandchildren, Dalton Temple, Rylan Temple, Aspen Temple, Kendal Sant and Kori Sant; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring Bruce as pallbearers will be D.J. Farris, Newton Farris, Rustin Belcher, John Austin Temple, Ethan Temple, and Jason Sant. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be 4-G Contractors, Alan Wayne Palmer, Daniel Gallaspy, and Dennis Farris, Sr.
