Funeral services for Bryant Alexander Wingfield will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Kathy Wafer officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Bryant Alexander was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on June 29, 1987 and went to be with God May 14, 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He served his country in the United States Army with two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the military he began living his dream of being a LSU Tiger in Baton Rouge achieving a degree in engineering and was ready to begin law school. He excelled as a LSU Tiger and everyone that knew him understood the love he had for the LSU Tigers. There was only one thing Bryant loved more than the LSU Tigers that was his family and friends.
He touched so many lives in a happy way. When he walked into the room he lit up the place and his brilliant smile was one in a million. He now will smile and watch over his family, friends and beloved Tigers from the best seat of all.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Linda Wingfield and cousin James Edward Blythe III.
He is survived by his mother Lori January and husband Phillip of Wichita Falls, Texas, grandfather Jim Wingfield of Cotton Valley, grandmother Janice Tripp of Bossier City, sister Abby McCrary of Shreveport, brother Todd McCrary of Augusta, Maine, aunts Christi Robertson of Minden, Wendy Harville and husband Heath of Athens, uncle Greg Wingfield and wife Tammy of Minden, and cousins Michael Robertson, Jeffrey Robertson, Gemi Blythe, Logan Wingfield, Kaley Wingfield, Lilly McFarland, and Bryce Toland.
Pallbearers will be Michael Robertson, Jeffrey Robertson, Heath Harville, Sean Honan, Chris Marlin, Jack McCrary, Greg Wingfield, Tristan Tackett, and Eddie Rhodes.
