Graveside services for Calvin L. Crews will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Crider. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Calvin was born August 16, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest April 18, 2015 in Minden, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Edith Crews and brother Marlin Crews. He is survived by his sisters Maudie Crews McCart and husband George of Shreveport, Bessie Crews Badgley of Bossier City, brothers P.A. Crews and wife Mildred of Princeton, Marcus C. Crews and wife Barbara of Stonewall, Mose H. Crews and wife Sherry of Sibley, numerous nieces and nephews, and a special caregiver Kathy Carson and the staff of Webster Parish Community Home. Honorary pallbearers will be his good friends, Damon Lubon, Daniel Dupree, Tommie Evans, Willie Horton, and James Thomas.
