Cammie Pauline Holland Johnson passed, 86, passed away on September 23, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held for her on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Gardens in Haughton, Louisiana. A visitation for Cammie will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Pastor Robert Finley will officiate the services.
Cammie Johnson was born January 14, 1934 in Beinville Parish, Louisiana to Albert Louis Holland Sr. and Vera Pauline Jimmerson. She married Arvelle Kylie Johnson and together they had three sons. Cammie worked as a production clerk at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant for many years. She enjoyed spending times with her friends and family, as she was always the social butterfly. Christmas dinner was held every year at her house and every so often, a family fish fry too. Family was everything to Cammie and she would do anything for her kids and grandkids including baking them their favorite sweet treat. She had the best chicken pie, cakes, tea cakes, and an apple pie that no one could ever come close to beating. Cammie enjoyed planting and gardening in her flower beds and taking care of her cats.
Cammie is preceded in death by her husband, Arvelle Kylie Johnson; parents, Albert L. Holland Jr.and Vera Pauline Jimmerson Holland and five siblings. She is survived by her sons, Randy Arvelle Johnson and wife, Vicki; Terry Lynn Johnson and wife, Penny; Christopher Eric Johnson; grandchildren, Christy Adams and husband, TJ, Nicholas Johnson and wife, Kaydee, Matthew Johnson, Tiffany Tanuyan and husband, George; four great grandchildren and sisters, Bettye Jean McMillen and Joyce Pate.
