Carla Anderson

Funeral services will be held for Carla Cheatwood Anderson, age 58, on Monday, May 23, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia. Interment will follow at Old Saline Cemetery.   Carla was born January 14, 1964, to Carl Huey and Anita Graham Cheatwood in Shreveport, LA. She passed away on May 20, 2022, in Minden, LA, with her loving family by her side. Carla enjoyed dancing, was a yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do, and loved music. She played multiple instruments, as well as loved to sing. Carla worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and had an extensive knowledge in many areas. She started her career in labor and delivery, which she enjoyed, but her passion was for geriatrics. Carla was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all.   Carla is survived by her daughter Jehna Stephens, parents Carl and Anita Cheatwood, brother Alan Cheatwood, sister Connie Kennedy and husband Randy, aunts Edreth Free, Bernice Dans, and Dianne Cheatwood, nephews Caleb Kennedy and wife Laura, Hoye Kennedy, and Chris Kennedy, nieces Allysonn Cheatwood and Josh Evans and their daughter Iris, and Sarah Cheatwood, and by numerous other loving family and friends.
