Carla Jayne Davis

Bivins, Tx ~ Carla Jayne Davis, age 55 was born in Vivian, LA on October 10, 1958 to her parents, Copeland Barnette and Martha McMahan Barnette Bogue and past away on August 31, 2014 at her residence. She was a resident of Bivins, TX, a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Carla is preceded in death by her father, Copeland Barnette; brother, Coleton Barnette, and grandparents, Eula McMahan and X. L. Barnette. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Davis of Bivins, TX; parents, Martha and George Bogue of Hot Springs, AR, two sons, Ron Creamer and Coleton Davis both of Bivins, TX; two daughters, Brandi Palmer of St. Francisville, LA and Carlee Davis of Bivins, TX. Her stepsister, Gwynn Brown of Marshall, TX, stepbrother, George D. Bogue of Diana, TX, special aunt, Gloria Procell Villagran and 11 grandchildren also survive Carla. Memorial services celebrating Carla's life will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 5, 2014 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Barry Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
