Carlton Hughes Folmar

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Carlton Hughes Folmar, 85, will be held 12 noon Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Murry Hodge. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Carlton was born on March 30, 1929 in Winnsboro, TX and passed away on August 29, 2014. He was a resident of Shreveport, LA and a Baptist. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor of Atlas Processing. He was a member of The Fair Park Masconic Lodge, Scottish Rights, and Elkarauh Shrine. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Floy Folmar; sister, Inez Lowery; brothers, Wayne and Lanny. Left to cherish his memory the love of his life for 63 years, Linda Folmar; son, Lynn Folmar and wife Bonnie; daughter, Renee' Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Jarred Thibodeaux and wife, Alisha and Heather Hensley and husband, Aaron; great-grandchildren, Austin and Hannah.
