Carolyn Susan Collier

  KEITHVILLE, LA - Memorial services celebrating the life of Carolyn Susan Collier, 68, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville at 12:00 noon, where she will be placed with her husband. Carol was born on March 15, 1949 in Biddeford, Maine and passed away on March 18, 2017 in her Keithville home. She worked at Orkin Pest Control, with people she truly enjoyed to be around. Carol was the life of the party with an adventurously, young soul. She was a great listener, who supported her family and friends above all else. She was an incredibly strong woman that built the foundation on which her family stood. She will be greatly missed by her family, and all those whose lives she blessed with kindness and friendship. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Michael O. Collier, Sr.; sister, Connie Herring; brother, Danny Lariviere; and her beloved wolf-dog, Paco Man. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Rita Lariviere; son, Michael O. Collier, Jr., and wife, Melinda; daughters, Shirley Collier, Teaha Beaver and husband, Billy, and Bre McIntire and husband, William; grandchildren, Max, Milana, and Maddox Collier, Monique Pezel and husband, Justin; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Brantley, Koby, and Kolten McIntire, and Landen and Eisley Pezel; sister, Linda Lariviere; brother, David Lariviere; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
