Her visitation will continue on Saturday morning, July 3, 2021 from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM. Carolyn was born July 26, 1946 in Shreveport, LA to Emma Elizabeth (Rubrecht) Lowell and Lumir John "PopPop" Lowell and she entered into rest on June 30, 2021 in Shreveport, LA.
She retired from Sabine State Bank in 2013; she was employed with them for over 20 years. Carolyn had a take charge, competitive personality. She was genuine in what she thought... She loved playing card games and dominos during family gatherings. She was always ready to help with church projects; bingo and other functions or organizations at St. Joseph Catholic Church when needed or asked. Her love of dancing, especially doing the jitterbug with her husband, Huey, was evident. They could cut a rug like nobody else! She was definitely a beautiful, sweet, spunky, even mischievous woman who will truly be missed by MANY...
Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lumir John Lowell; and her husband of 53 years, Huey Cordova. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Michelle Cordova & fiancée, David Norton of Shreveport, LA; her brother, Bob Lowell & wife, Elaine of Maple Valley, WA, her brother, Kenneth Lowell & wife, Susie of Angelton, TX; and grandsons, Lakota Cordova and Wiyot Carter. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
