Bossier City, LA. - Funeral services celebrating the life of Carolyn Roberts Johnson Davenport, age 77 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA. Officiating will be James Festervand. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Oil City, LA. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Carolyn was born in Oil City, LA. on February 4, 1939 to Carlos Lee Roberts and Alta Mae Phillips Roberts and passed away on November 17, 2016 at Spring Lake Guest Care in Shreveport, LA. She was a resident of Bossier City, LA for 30 years, member of First Baptist Church, Bossier City and of the Red Hat Society. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Alta Roberts; husband, Marvin Johnson; siblings, Jenean Floyd, Donald Robert and Jerry Roberts. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lee Davenport of Bossier City, La; 3 sons, Harold, Kenneth and Ronnie (Margie) Lantrip; sisters, Louise (Frankie) Festervand and Shirley Stevens; grandchildren, Sara and Chris and great grandson, Nathan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to charity of donor's choice.
