Graveside services for Carolyn Marie Burdine Smith will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Williamson Cemetery in Gibsland, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Carolyn was born January 27, 1943, in Texas and went to be with the Lord February 3, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Opal Davis Burdine and sister Mildred.

She is survived by her sons Benjamin Sherr and Bradd Sherr, daughter, Dawn Weber, sisters, Shirley, Beverly Alford, and Dorothy Hall, brothers, Charlie Burdine and Pat Burdine, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
