Carolyn Elizabeth Taylor

Funeral services honoring the life of Carolyn Elizabeth Burr Taylor, 66, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Joey Anding along with Rev. Dale English assisting. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Carolyn was born on July 2, 1954 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Jim William Burr II and Mary Estes Burr. She entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2020 in Stanley, Louisiana. Preceding Carolyn in death is her husband of 42 years, Mitchell O'Neal Taylor; father, Jim Burr II and her brother, Jim Burr III. She is survived by her children, Shayne Taylor and wife April of Stanley; Sonja Taylor of Logansport, Mitchell Taylor and Samantha of West Monroe, Janie Cordova and husband Jason of Ruston, and Marissa Taylor and Bobby Hutto of Stanley; grandchildren, Seth Taylor, Samuel Taylor, Eryca Taylor, Elayna Taylor, Alissa Taylor, Kaleb Morgan, Chloe Morgan, Ethaen Fuller, Penelope Hall, Jayden Cordova, Aubriegh Cordova, Jackson Cordova, Rylan Pool, and Karson Pool; great-grandson, Easton Morgan. Honoring Carolyn as pallbearers will be Mark Wallace, Daniel Anding, Jeffery Myers, Danny Burr, Tommy Lee, and Jay Bartlett. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Kaleb Morgan.
