Casey Wade Birdwell

A celebration of life for Mr. Casey Wade Birdwell will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, 368 Hwy 1221, Marthaville, Louisiana, with Bro. Chris Birdwell, Bro. Brian Jennings, and Bro. Brian Ray officiating. Interment will follow in McCaskill Cemetery in Marthaville, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Friday July 12, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church.

Casey was born on July 3, 1986, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Dennis Wade Birdwell and Sharon Rene’ Procell, and entered into rest on July 10, 2024. Casey enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and riding on his dozer. He always got a thrill picking at his Uncle James and Uncle Brian on who could kill the biggest buck. Casey worked cattle with his Uncle Winston. Every day with Casey was an adventure. He was loved by his dog, Dozer.

Casey was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Birdwell, and grandfather, Harvey Birdwell.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tina Birdwell; mother, Sharon Procell; daughter, Jami Alyse Robbins; grandmother, Maxine Birdwell, grandparents, Mary Ann and James M. Procell; mother-in-law, Deanna Pearce, father-in-law, Steve Pearce (Nancy); sister-in-law, Laney Kennedy; niece, Rhiannon Leone; great nephew, Lucas Wade Strother; aunts, Daisy Maxey (Larry), Wilma Flurry (Richard), Thelma Lantier (Rickey), and Ellen Carol Ebarb (Jeff); uncles, Winston Birdwell (Teresa), Bobby Dean Birdwell, Mervin Birdwell (Connie), James A. Procell (Cathy), and Brian Procell (Connie), and a host of cousins and friends.

Honoring Casey as pallbearers will be Trey Birdwell, Wesley Birdwell, Forrest Veuleman, Justin Bufkin, Chris Layfield, Justin Free, Caleb Procell, and Brian Procell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nolan Patrick, Lucas Wade Strother, James Procell, Jessie Leone, Jeff Harris, Britany Procell, Logan Free, and Jamie Schevers.
