Mansfield, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Catherine Smith will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Wallace Cemetery in Wallace Community, Louisiana. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Catherine was born on September 3, 191928 to her parents Thomas and Gladys Berry. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Berry, Sr. and Gladys Butler Berry; husband, Earl Smith; daughters, Maryln Massey, Yolanda Massey; sisters, Tommie Lou McKenzie, Nita Berry and brother, Carol Berry. Catherine is survived by sons, Chris Stewart from Mansfield, Louisiana, Joseph Stewart from Houston, Texas; sisters, Liz Cooper from Joaquin, Texas, Martha Hollifeld from Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, T.J. Berry, Jr. from Joaquin, Texas; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
