Chad Doughty

Funeral services for Chad Lewis Doughty, 32, will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Chad was born on December 3, 1987 to Carl Doughty and Susan Renee Crank Doughty in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Chad was a very kind and gentle person. He loved making people laugh and spending time with his family. Chad worked very hard and never complained, he always pushed through. The legacy of Chad's kind heart, love of fishing and love of family will last forever. Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, Iris and James Doughty; grandfather, Joe Lewis Crank, Sr.; great-great grandparents, Thelma and John Crank; great aunt, Myrtle Elizabeth Raley; great uncle, Artis Crank; great aunt, Charlotte Bass and special family friend, Michelle Burlington Davis. He is survived by his parents; sister, Suzanne Doughty; brother, Joseph Davis; grandmother, Betty Taylor; uncle, Joe Crank, Jr. and wife, Carey; uncles, Gordon Doughty and wife, Maxine and James Manuel Doughty and wife, Janetta; aunts, Katherine Iris Adkison and husband, Michael and Gracie Lamar Hingst and husband, Doug; cousins, Logan Bowman, Carolyn Crank, Colton Crank, Joshua Crank, Shelby Crank, Keaton Kitchura, Keely Kitchura, Brent Doughty and wife, Wendy, Scarlet Cox and husband, Steven, Katherine Burrow and husband, Ron, Della Mae Martin and husband, Jeff, Julian Gene and Williams Santana and wife, Yaisa.
