Charles Hildred Ambrose

Shreveport, La - A Celebration of life for Charles Hildred Ambrose, 73, will be held 10 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Chad Hardbarger. Charles was born on October 31, 1941 in Buckner, Arkansas to Hildred and Iva Ambrose. He passed away on January 14, 2015. He retired from Beaird Industries after 35 years as an accountant and worked for Enterprise Auto for the past 10 years. He was a kind, caring, humble man who loved the simple things in life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hildred and Iva Ambrose and brother, Leo Ambrose. He is survived by wife of 50 years, Carolyn Brow Ambrose, daughter, Nancy Greene and husband, Stephen, grandson, Adam Greene of Tyler, TX, sister, Laney Sue Ormand and husband, JD, nephew, Danny Ormand, wife Danita and son, Josh of Stamps, AR, brother-in-law, William Brow, and wife, Jan, sister-in-law, Lisa Brow, husband, Bruce Crow, sister-in-law, Lu Brow of New Orleans, along with nephew Marc Brow, and wife, Lindsey and son, Adain. Pallbearers will be William Brow, Stephen Greene, Bruce Crow, Rex Loyer, R. L. Bamburg, and Danny Ormand. In lieu of flowers donate to the charity of your choice.
