Charles W. Baker, Sr.

Charles W. Baker, Sr., age 85, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on June 10, 2024. He was born on April 6, 1939 in Methvin, Louisiana to Thomas Allen Baker and Armer Lee Bonnette-Baker. 

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 located at King's Temple United Pentecostal Church, 8951 Kingston Rd, Shreveport, LA 71118. Officiating the service will be Damon Magee and John Berry. Interment will be held at Mount Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, Louisiana. Honoring Charles as pallbearers will be Charles Baker, Jr., Hoyt Ford, Kameron Jordan, Zack Cook, Juan Sanchez, and Micheal Redding.

Charles was married 61 years to the love of his life, Natalie Ruth Jordan-Baker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Armer Baker; wife, Natalie Ruth Jordan-Baker; son, Wesley Baker; siblings, Una May Hallmon, Pearline Frame, Aline Cochran, Albert Baker, and Annie Lee. Left to cherish his memory include his son, Charles Baker and wife Paulette; daughter, Beverly Colemon and husband Kenney; along with numerous grandkids and great grandkids.
