Charles S. Brown

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Don Woodard officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, prior to the service time. Interment will follow at Cotton Valley Cemetery with military rites.

Charles was born November 25, 1941, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. He went to be with the Lord April 1, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He was preceded by his parents, Francis Lee Brown and Eva Jennings Brown, sisters, Ruth Brown, Murlene Ponder, and Gloria Faye Green.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Brown of Cotton Valley; sons, Carey D. Brown (Pamela) of Bossier City and Gaylon C. Brown (Dawn) of Benton; daughter, Kimberly Mathews (Michael) of Shreveport; sisters, LaVerne Bell of Mansfield and Sharon Roberts of Bullard, Texas; brothers, Glen Brown (Virginia) of Stonewall and Cecil “Dourland” Brown of Shreveport; and grandchildren, Luke Witmer, Loren Brown, Braysen Brown, and Cobi Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cail Roberts, Blake Roberts, Dennis Bell, Randy Ponder, Joe Ogden, and Chris Brown.
