Services for Charles Raymond Brumley, Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Blanchard Church of the Nazarene in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Delbert. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church. Ray was born May 15, 1957 in Shreveport, LA to Sally Brumley and Charles Brumley, Sr. and passed away September 18, 2016. He was a hard and loyal worker to Kansas City Southern Railroad for 40 years. He married Teresa Brumley of Shreveport, LA and they had 3 daughters who gave him 6 grandchildren. He loved his family unconditionally. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Dossie Bryant and Suzie Brumley. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Brumley; three daughters, April Brumley, Rachel Anderson, and Gabrielle James and husband, Matthew James; sister, Laura "Snooks" Lafitte and husband, Rodney Lafitte; brother John Weed and wife, Dawn Weed; six grandchildren, Destiny Ferguson, Michael Brumley, Madison Ferguson, Aiden Anderson, Zoey Anderson, Bryson Stewart; and many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed. Honoring Charles as pallbearers will be Mitch Allred, Jimmy Ashby, Randall Averitt, Jr., Jay Carmandy, Todd McCoy, and Dean Williams.
