Charles "Chuck" Johnson

A Celebration of Life will be held for Charles “Chuck” Johnson, 89, of Shreveport, Louisiana, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at The Johnson residence, 4533 Steere Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana.

Chuck was born December 13, 1933, to Charles and Ruby Johnson, in Rock Island, Illinois, and passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Chuck graduated from Rock Island High School. He was married to the love of his life Nancy for 69 years. He served in the United States Army. He was also a talented architect and salesman. He loved to draw, read, do crossword puzzles and woodworking. He volunteered his time helping other veterans at the VA.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Ricky Smith. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Johnson; sons, Mike Johnson, Jerry Johnson and wife, Becky, Bradley Johnson and wife, Andrea; daughter, Vicki Smith; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
