BOSSIER CITY, LA - Charles "Randy" Dixon, 50, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 25, 2017. Graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Point Chapel Cemetery in Doyline, LA, with Rev. Andy Harris officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA.
Randy was born on January 19, 1967 in Shreveport, LA to Charlie and Anita Dixon. He loved attending church at Central Assembly of God, was a very avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU sports. Randy was a graduate of Parkway High School. Randy participated in the Special Olympics in Houma, LA where he loved playing basketball, baseball, and bowling.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; sister, Janie Enax of Houma, LA; brothers, Kevin Dixon and wife Melanie and their son, Graham of Waxahachie, TX, Brian Dixon and wife Veronica and their children, Zach, Ethan and Christlynn of Suffolk, VA.
Randy never met a stranger. He loved all and was loved by all. He touched many lives during his short time here on earth. He is now in the arms of his heavenly father.
