Charles retired after 38 years from Exide Battery plant where he worked as a millwright. He then started working for O'Riley's delivering auto parts to different locations. Left to cherish his wonderful memories is his beloved wife Faye Lindabury Dunaway; a daughter, Angela Dunaway Jones and husband Michael. Five grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Whitney Jones, Michael "Austin" Jones, Caitlin Dunaway and Brendan Dunaway; Six great-grandchildren, Kailey Jones, Allie Smith, Leah Smith, Kade Kelly, Kaylin Kelly, and Kinsley Rider along with numerous extended family members and may wonderful friends.
Honoring Charles as pallbearers will be Michael A. Jones, Michael Austin Jones, Brendan Dunaway, Michael McDaniel Jr., Phillip McDaniel and Gavin Rider.
