Charles Franklin "Frankie" Festervand

Funeral services celebrating the life of Charles Franklin “Frankie” Festervand, age 77 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Vivian Church of the Nazarene, 1517 North Pine Street, Vivian, LA with his brother James Festervand officiating, assisted by Rev. Sherrill Stiles. Interment will follow at the Memorial Gardens North, Blanchard, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, June 1^st at 12 noon at the church until service time

Frankie was born in Vivian, LA on August 16, 1945 to Charlie James Festervand and Adelia Bethany Festervand and left this life on May 26, 2023 at his residence in Blanchard. He was a member of the Vivian Church of the Nazarene and served in the National Guard. Frankie had a green thumb and loved gardening, had a passion for cooking and loved Caddo Lake where he loved to fish. Spending time with his family and church family was always special to him. He always had a helping hand for those who needed it.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, Carl and Alta Mae Roberts; brothers-in-law, Robert Samuel “Bob” Hart, Jack Stevens, Jerry Roberts, and Donald Roberts; sister-in-law, Carolyn Roberts Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Louise Festervand, son, Randy Festervand and wife, Sharon; sister, Shelby Hart; brother, James Festervand and wife, Beth; granddaughter, Emily Marie Festervand; sister -in-law, Shirley Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Frankie as pallbearers will be Harold Lantrip, Thomas Kendrick, Hunter Kendrick, Jared Kendrick, Greg Floyd and Tommy Monk. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Cook, Bennie Moore, Kristopher Dryden, Chris Stevens, Roger Dale Festervand and Jr. Shoebroek.

The family suggest that memorials be made to the Vivian Church of the Nazarene, 1517 N. Pine Street, Vivian, LA  71082.
