Charles L. Hodges

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Funeral services for Charles L. Hodges, 95, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Dean, pastor of the Pentecostals of Bossier. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5 till 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Charles was born November 21, 1918 in Fisher, LA to Charles Sidney and Viola Farrar Hodges and died November 16, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and he was employed as a maintenance supervisor for the Bossier Parish School Board. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Daniel Guinn Hodges and sister, Laverne Opal Peterson. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Martha Edwina Hodges; sons, Danny Hodges and wife, Judy, Darrel Hodges and wife, Cyndi; daughter, Cheryl Beavers and husband, Gary; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Honoring Charles as pallbearers will be Robert Hodges, Brian Beavers, Dennis Peterson, Mikhael Valadas, Michael Hodges and Rickey Beavers.
