Charles Edward James, Sr

Funeral services celebrating the life of Charles Edward James, Jr will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA with Rev. Ricky Jeane officiating. Interment will follow at the Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, December 28^th from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Mr. James was born on December 27, 1942 in Vivian, LA to Charles James, Sr and Mae Hines James. Mr. James passed away on December 15, 2022 in Webster, TX.

Mr. James is preceded death by his wife, Martha Carolyn Day James (January 20, 2021) and his daughter, Carol Lynn James Hurst (November 10, 2022).

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jimmy L James and wife, Connie, Todd E. James, Tony S. James and Jason H. James. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael Hurst, Bradly Hurst, Tia James, Jimmy James, III, Joshua James, David James, Kristina James, Krysla James, Aalana James, 8 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
