Charles "Mike" Ward

BLANCHARD, LA - Services for Charles "Mike" Ward will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Malone of Cross Roads Assembly of God, assisted by Rev. Colbert Berthlot. Interment will follow at Point Chapel Cemetery, Doyline, LA. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at Rose-Neath Bossier. Mike was born August 16, 1955 in Minden, LA to Emmit and Vinia Ward and died October 3, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of Cross Roads Assembly of God in Blanchard, LA and was also a member of Deaf Action. Mike worked in lawn service. His parents and brother, Emmit William Ward preceded him in death. Mike is survived by sisters, Shirley Fatheree of Blanchard, LA, Monica Ward and PeeWee Hamilton, both of Bossier City, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, one great niece, great nephews and a host of friends. Honoring Mike as pallbearers are, George Sims, Kenny Stoll, Brian Fatheree, Richard Fatheree, Grady Franklin and Herbert Sistrunk. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Ashby and Randal Strickland.
