Charles "Kevin" Sentell SHREVEPORT, LA - Charles "Kevin" Sentell passed away July 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at North Highlands United Methodist Church, 835 Poleman Rd., Shreveport, LA 71107, with Rev. Beth Sentell and Rev. Steve Caraway officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath. Kevin was born on February 17, 1956 in Shreveport, LA. He was employed for 27 years as a Deputy Sheriff with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. Kevin will be missed by his family and friends and the many young adults he coached during their youth baseball years. He had so much fun teasing Chad, Nick and Brittney's friends. They all considered him their second dad. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugenia and Chobby Sentell. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Renee Sentell; sons, Chad Sentell and Nick Sentell; daughter, Brittney McMillian; brothers, Scott Sentell and wife Ginny, Greg Sentell, Bret Sentell, and a host of other relatives and friends. Honoring Kevin as pallbearers will be his nephews Clay Sentell and John Sentell, and the "Dixie Road Gang" Danny Kelly, Gary Withrow, Randy Harris, Chuck Davis, Steve Hailey, and Ronnie Crowson. Serving him as honorary pallbearers are Billy Alcorn, Burney Lummus, and members of the "Wednesday Night Social Club." The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Caddo District One EMS, Willis-Knighton Bossier Cardiologist, Dr. Kasadali, the nurses and all the staff of the hospital. Also Sheriff Steve Prator and the Caddo Sheriff's Department for all their support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of donor's choice.
