Charles Haley Wadsworth, Sr.

Stonewall, LA - Funeral service for Charles Haley Wadsworth, Sr., 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Pastor Bobby Wadsworth will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet in Stanley, La. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Charles was born on May 29, 1928 to Grover C. and Verna V. Wadsworth in San Augustine, TX. He passed away on October 18, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Thelma Pauline Wadsworth, sons, Charles "Skipper" Wadsworth, Jr., and wife, Debbie, and David Wadsworth, and wife, Carol, daughter, Karen Wadsworth Riley, and husband, Pat, 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Joshua Wadsworth, Jimmy Wadsworth, Ricky Briceno, Jonathan Vincents, Tommy Wadsworth and Robert Wadsworth.
