Charlie Clifton Fox

Mitchell, LA - Clifton Fox, 91, passed away September 2, 2015 in Mansfield, LA. Funeral services honoring his life will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Reverend Bobby Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath in Mansfield on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. Clifton was born in Mitchell to Charlie and Lille Ott Fox. He worked as a parts man for Lowrey Motor Company for 28 years and then worked at Chevyland for 18 years. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Preceding Clifton in death were his parents Charlie and Lillie Ott Fox; sisters Mildred Neel, and Jean Franklin; and brother Curtis Fox. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years Lou Fox; son Roger Fox and wife Kimberly; daughter Carolyn Ezernack and husband Jeff; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Honoring the life of Clifton as pallbearers will be Jimmy Booker, Doly Love, Ted Booker, Paul Walker, Buddy Love, and Brian Walker. The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TX 38105.
