Charlotte Johnson Smith

Charlotte Johnson Smith was born on July 31, 1965 to Frances Durham Johnson and Charles Stanley Johnson in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and passed away at the age of 59 on Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Charlotte resided in Gibsland, Louisiana during her childhood and graduated as a Valedictorian of her class from Bienville Academy. She married Joseph Varland Smith, Jr., on May 2, 1986. She was a loving mother and had just become a grandmother this past April. She was also a die-hard LSU Football fan. Geaux Tigers!

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Smith, Jr., parents, Charles and Frances Johnson, and her nephew, Charles Robert Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Trey Smith and wife, Lizzie of Longview, TX; daughter, Kaylee Wallace (Adam) of Waskom, TX; brother, Dennis Cox and wife, Barbara of Ringgold, LA, and one granddaughter, Amelia Josephine Smith of Longview, TX.
