Chelsea Kay Moore

Funeral services for Chelsea Kay Moore, 29, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Keithville with Pastor Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Chelsea was born June 21, 1989 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2018 in Cape San Blas, FL. She loved her children. She lived a vibrant, colorful life. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Chelsea was preceded in death by her son, Peyton Moore; uncle, Robbie Moore; and grandfather, John David Moore. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lexii Smith and her father Joel Smith II and Keagen Dallas Moore; parents, Stephen Moore and Patty Desormeaux; stepfather, Todd Desormeaux; brother, Douglas Moore; and sister, Kara Desormeaux; grandmother, Linda Morgan and husband Jimmy Morgan; grandparents, Dottie and Ray Tabor; aunt, Laura Robbins and husband David; cousins, Christian David Moore, Chloe Robbins, Courtney Tabor, and Zachary Tabor; close friends, Sarah Brown, Ashley Fisher, and JP Morgan; and numerous other friends. Pallbearers will be Al Tabor, Zachary Tabor, Milton Williams, William Robbins, JP Morgan, Bobby Berry, and Joel Smith, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Perry and David Robbins. The family would like to give a special thanks to Carl and Lisa Blake and everyone at MP NexLevel-Iowa District.
